FLR

"FLR is a library of R packages for use in fisheries modelling, including the evaluation of management strategies and stock assessment.

FLR is a set of R packages that provide a set of classes and methods that allows a variety of fisheries modelling tasks to be carried within the R statistical language. One of the main aims is to perform the comprenhensive evaluation of management strategies using stochastic simulation. The package also allows the exchange of information between different assessment models and methods.

The library core is based upon S4 classes that are intended to model most fisheries-related processes, both biological and socio-economic. A number of libraries implementing various stock assesssment, management simulation, sampling, and implementation models and methods already exist."
